QuickBooks Desktop 2023 bank feeds and May 31, 2026
Intuit's service discontinuation policy says QuickBooks Desktop 2023 services discontinue after May 31, 2026. This page does not say all QuickBooks Desktop ends in 2026. It only tracks the official 2023 service date and the statement-import fallbacks a bookkeeper may need.
What changes for statement imports
Before
Supported QuickBooks Desktop 2023 users could use connected add-on services, including bank feeds and Web Connect service surfaces where available.
After
After the discontinuation date, Intuit directs users to a supported QuickBooks version or current online workflow for connected services.
Bookkeepers with PDF statements should keep a verified CSV/QBO/OFX fallback so legacy bank-feed gaps do not force manual retyping.
Conservative fallback workflow
- 1. Confirm the exact QuickBooks Desktop year/version and whether it is still supported.
- 2. Prefer the bank's official QBO/Web Connect, OFX, or CSV export when it exists.
- 3. If only a PDF statement exists, convert locally and review every flagged balance-check row.
- 4. Import QBO/OFX/CSV only after confirming signs, dates, and descriptions match the source statement.
